Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: Merkur Long Handled Progress
Blade: Gillette Dark Blue
Brush: Edwin Jagger Best Badger
Soap or Cream: Taylor’s Lavender Cream
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, La Toja Classic Splash

A fine shave by any measure. I'm getting to the bottom of the TOBS Lavender pot, so need to think about a replacement before long--probably the TOBS again. I've been very happy with TOBS creams, but there is always the lure of something I haven't yet tried.

Ach Brito Glyce preshave soap
Dirty Bird 1.5 scuttle
Rooney (M&F) Stubby 1 Finest (25/48)
Taylor of Old Bond Street Lavender shaving cream
Feather AS
Super-Max Titanium (2)
Tom Ford splash aftershave

A very good shave. This was my first use of the M&F brush with Rooney Finest hair, and it did really well. It has great backbone but very soft tips, a nearly perfect combination. For some reason the TOBS cream caused my face to burn while I was shaving, but it faded after I rinsed; that hasn't happened with this cream before. And the Super-Max was slightly smoother this time but still no match for some of the vintage blades.

Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: Edwin Jagger Chatsworth
Blade: Gillette Super Thin
Brush: H.L. Thäter Stout 2 (4125/2)
Soap or Cream: Cyril Salter Hard Soap
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Meehan Bay Rhum

A great shave, but a somewhat hurried one–had to take the dog to the groomer early. I would have enjoyed the shave much more without the rush. It's a chilly morning, and the Meehan Bay Rhum provided a nice warm finish.
