Gordon, yes I noticed that. I couldn't quite put my finger on it about the lids. Middle age I guess. Hope they keep those pots sturdy.

Straight Razor Designs scuttle
Simpsons Colonel X2L "Ehsan" Super (23/46)
Floris Elite shaving cream

A great shave. The Ehsan is wonderful. The blade is sharp and smooth, easily the equal of the Light Brigades. The Elite cream is top quality, as is the matching aftershave.

Tuesday:

Gillette Model #58 & Gillette 'Swede'
Plisson #12 HMW
Trumpers Limes shave cream
D R Harris's Pink A/S
Taylors Sandalwood

An unusually good shave. The lather that this brush and cream produced was excellent and there was more of it than I could use. It was also the second shave with this blade and they have always been better than the first. Really, really close yet no irritation whatsoever.
