Thats a BRILLIANT shave : the #58 and the Gillette Swede are a perfect combo. Is the Colonel a Somerset era brush? The T&H lavender should be next on my list.

Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: Edwin Jagger DE87
Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium
Brush: Vulfix 2234 Super Badger
Cream: Proraso Sandalwood
A/S: Dickinson’s Witch Hazel/Proraso Classic Balm

A great shave this morning! It’s going to be considerably colder today and I’m going to be outside much of the afternoon, so decided to use a balm. In fact, it looks like the next couple of days will be “balm days”.

Homemade frankincense & myrrh preshave oil
Dirty Bird 1.5 scuttle
Somerset Simpson Classic 2 Best (23/46)
Truefitt & Hill Almond shaving cream
Feather AS
Gillette Platinum Plus (1)
Avon Tai Winds splash aftershave

A great shave. The Classic 2 feels more like a Super than a Best. My wife isn't crazy about the old Avon aftershave, but I like it and am allowed to wear it occasionally, and I really like its Mustang container.
