Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: 1967 Gillette Slim Adjustable*
Blade: Super Iridium (the old pre-Polsilver version)*
Brush: Simfix Grosvenor LE Two Band*
Cream: Body Shop (old formula)*
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel/Wesley & Scott Clove and Peppermint Balm*

A great shave with some discontinued products (the discontinued items are indicated by asterisks). I really like the old Body Shop cream (made by Creighton’s). My present pot is almost empty but, fortunately, I have another which has been in cool storage, like a fine wine. Today is starting off chilly, so I pulled out the Wesley & Scott balm. The W&S balms are/were good stuff; too bad that they are no longer available.

Great Shave! Tried an experiment this morning ---

Irisch Moos soap loaded on the brush for 1 minute
Irisch Moos cream added (pea size drop) to the lather bowl
Rooney/Shavemac Finest
Cobra Classic razor
Kai blade
444 ASB
Pinaud Virgin Island Bay Rum

The great smelling lather was simply outstanding. I'm a lucky guy.

Just thought this morning, with proper care, it's amazing how long well made brushes can last. 1985 brush which still has some gas left in the tank.
