Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: 1948-50 Gillette Superspeed*
Blade: Astra Keramik*
Brush: Simfix Grosvenor LE Two Band*
Soap: Penhaligon’s English Fern (tallow formula)*
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel/G.F. Trumper Marlborough Splash*
Another fine shave with some items that are no longer in production (indicated by asterisks). The Superspeed, with a decent blade, never fails to deliver a nice shave, and the Grosvenor LE brush and Penhaligon’s soap seem to have been made for each other. The result this morning was superb.

Ach Brito Glyce preshave soap
Dirty Bird TSN LE Bill Bowl #2/50
Somerset Simpson Harvard 3 Best (19/44)
Floris Santal shaving cream (vintage)
Wilkinson Sticky
Personna 74 (1)
Floris No. 89 aftershave balm (vintage)
A great shave. Everything is vintage or discontinued. I like the Bill Bowl, but I really miss the lather warmth of a scuttle. The H3 is one of the Bests that feels like a Super to me, and Santal is very rich and moisturizing. The 74 is a truly great blade, but no better than a Light Brigade. And the No. 89 is a wonderful finish, fresh but slightly peppery.
