Kent BK4 silvertip badger
AOS Sandalwood (tallow)
Mühle R89 DE & 7 O'Blue
Superior 70 Bay Rum a/s
Meehan/Bonny Doon Bay

Sunday has become bay rum day in my den. Six months or so now.

Who knew the day was coming when I'd bemoan the reformulation of one of my sacred cows? Gordon, no more tallow in AOS soaps. I now feel your pain. When this puck is gone, what will I do?
Regards,
Tim

Sunday:

Gillette Model #58 & Schick Platinum
Rooney Emillion
Trumpers Almond shave cream
D R Harris's Pink A/S
Taylors Sandalwood

I'd forgotten to adjust for how much water this brush holds so the lather came out somewhat thin. Rather than futz with trying to add more cream ( a messy business ) I just dragged out the Barbieri Colla 'soap' and worked the brush some more on it. The resulting mixed lather was excellent and since the two products smell very similiar there was no clash of scents.

Tim, Ah well, now you know....it's not pleasant and I've gone through it I don't know how many times in the last ten years. Why couldn't just have left this stuff alone?!

Gordon
