Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: Cadet Sante Fe TTO-11
Blade: Astra Superior Platinum
Brush: Edwin Jagger Best
Cream/Soap: RazoRock XXX soft soap
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel/RazoRock Aftershave Wax

An excellent, BBS shave this morning. Although this was only my second shave with this razor, I’m impressed with it–great “bang for the buck” and good quality construction are two of its virtues. This is a hefty and a tad aggressive razor, causing me to appreciate the knurling–no tendency to slip out of my hand. It will be interesting to see if some of my other favorite blades work as well as the Astra in the Cadet.

Wednesday:

Gillette Model #58 & Schick Platinum
Rooney Finest, style 1, medium
T&H Lavender shave cream
D R Harris's Pink A/S
Trumpers Spanish Leather

I wouldn't dare use this brush with other lavender creams but the T&H is so lightly colored that I went ahead. Great lather, by the way.

MuhleRooney R41 frankenrazor
Crystal IP (2)
Simpson Special
Tabac soap
Thayer's Superhazel

Tried the EJ top plate with the R41 bottom plate on a Rooney handle.
The EJ does mitigate the Beast somewhat, enough so I'm not going
to buy the 2013 version.

THURSDAY:

Razor: 1930ish long tooth NEW with ball end handle
Blade: Schick Super Chromium (#2)
Soap: Klar Kabinett
Brush: Omega 11137 boar
A/S: Witch Hazel Lucky Tiger F/T & A/S and Nivea "Gel Fuido"
EdT: Paco Rabane (This stuff is classy!)

Again, this was one of the very closest and smoothest shaves I've had in a while. A really good match of blade and razor.

Kent BK4
TOBS Jermyn Street shaving cream
Z3 Super Speed
7 O'Clock Yellow (4)

Excellent shave with two passes. There's this really big bright thing in the sky today so that calls for Aqua Velva.
