Craig, Yeah, that's the problem with these creams...they don't keep all that long usually without hardening up like that. Some gents don't mind but I kinda do. The last couple or three pots of Coate's I had got like that and I mostly quit using them. But since it doesn't bother you, you'll get full use out of that older pot of Trumpers Rose....enjoy!
