Palmolive hard shaving stuck
Mühle R89 w/Gillette 7 O'Blue
Splash of Thayer's aftershave
Royall Vetiver Eau de Toilette
I know they're theoretically the same in terms of head geometry, but the R89 and Jagger Barley Chrome have very different feels. Perhaps due to weight/balance of head and handle, the R89 seems much more aggressive, and I've gotten so used to the EJ that I think when this blade is finished I'll probably look to unload the R89.

Homemade frankincense & myrrh preshave oil
Georgetown Pottery G4 scuttle
Somerset Simpson Beaufort 2 Pure (20/45)
Fitjar East Indies shaving soap
Wilkinson Sticky
Wilkinson Sword (cryogenically tempered) (1)
Abercrombie & Fitch Woods aftershave balm (vintage)
The glycerine-based Fitjar was new for me. It is OK, nothing special in its lathering qualities, and the scent is pretty overwhelming, a little too strong for me.

Tuesday: Limes again but I mixed it up
Trumper Limes Cream
Simpson 58S Brush
Gillette Super Speed 0-2
Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Platinum (Russian Black)
Trumper Limes Skin Food
Lilly of the Desert 99% Aloe Vera Gel
TOBS #74 Victorian Limes Cologne
While Trumper Limes is excellent, I find the T&H West Indian Lime cream to be just a tad bit more viscous and luxurious. I also prefer the T&H scent.

Tim, sorry for the delayed answer. I've had the bay rum for a while. In fact, I think I picked it up from you as memory serves. It wasn't my cup of tea initially but it has grown on me. So thanks.TRBeck wrote:Chris, couple of comments/questions: is the bay rum a recent addition to the den? How do you like it?Thalay Sagar wrote:Valobra stuck w/ lavender

Also, how much EO are you adding to your Valobra stucks?
As for the EO in the Valobra, a fair amount, but I really like a stronger scent. Probably 10+ drops. I guess I am trying to exorcise too many years of eau de goo in a can.
Best,
Chris

Tuesday:
Gillette Model #58 & Schick Platinum
Kent BK4
Trumpers Almond hard shave soap
D R Harris's Pink A/S
Taylors Sandalwood
Got a strong compliment on this scent tonight from a woman who while she is not 'young' is considerably younger than me. That's two in one week, one regarding Trumpers Spanish Leather and now this, so, there are clearly younger women who appreciate these older style scents. Good for them!....and me...
