Somerset Simpson Eagle 3 Pure (23/48)
Musgo Real shaving soap stick (vintage)
Feather AS-D1
Schick Krona Comfort Edge (vintage) (3)
Yardley Black Label splash aftershave (vintage)

I used slightly more water in my brush today, and the lather was even better. No razor clogging. BBS and soft skin.

Monday:

Gillette Model #58 & Schick Platinum blade
Simpson EJ3 ( vintage )
Trumpers Violet shave cream
D R Harris's Pink A/S
Taylors Sandalwood

At first glance this brush doesn't seem like it would be that good, it has rather dark badger bristle and is not very dense. Yet it does a wonderful job with classic creams like this; more than enough high quality lather for three passes plus. One reason, I think, is that it is just very well made, splaying into a perfect circle when compressed against the bottom of the lather bowl. When this brush was made Simpson still had brushmakers at their facility who had decades of experiance and I think that comes across in this old specimen.

Welcome to SMH Jeff!

Monday:

DR Harris Lavender Soap
Jagger/CO Bigelow Best Badger Brush
Gillette Super Speed O-4
Gillette 7 O'Clock SharpEdge
Thayer's Medicated WH
Nivea Post Shave Balm mixed w/ Lily Of The Desert 99% Aloe Gelly
Trumper Marlborough Cologne

Running late (again) this morning. Face lathered with the soap and had a great 3 pass shave. Harris Soaps really are top notch performers, even if the scents could be a touch stronger.
Cheers,

Craig

Ever have one of those days when the stars lined up and the gods were on your side, and you got that perfect shave? Well, that was my shave today. From the Speick Natural Soap face wash, the Prairie Creations Pre Shave Unscented Oil, the rich MWF lather, made with the Proraso/Omega Brush, in the SWK Scuttle, the Thiers-Issard Le Grelot, the Floid Blue After Shave, and the Prairie Creations After Shave Unscented Balm, it was the perfect shave.
