This was a great shave. The old Manchurian was luxurious, and the blade, unlike some 74s, was both very sharp and very smooth.

Soap: Palmolive stick mushed into a wooden bowl (sorry, Floris)

Post: Thai Crystal deodorant stick and Thayers Witch Hazel with Aloe

Result: BBS on face and neck in 3.5 passes. A few cuts that were my own fault, but nothing that didn't close up by the end of the shave with help of a styptic stick. Great shave otherwise. Close and comfortable. I love the Progress with a Personna lab combo!

I enjoyed a very luxurious shave this morning. The Cobra Classic arrived on Friday afternoon and I had to take it for a spin. It gave me an effortless BBS shave -aided no doubt by the excellent lather from the Pens soap. A splash of ADP and I am ready to visit the in-laws.
