Somerset Simpson Berkeley 46 Best (20/40)
Floris Santal shaving cream (vintage)
Gillette Old OC/UFO Goliath brass handle

The old Santal cream produced great lather, as good as or better than almost any other cream I can recall.

Good Day, Gentlemen,
Pre: QED French Clay facial soap
Razor: Gillette Sensor After Market Handle with Gillette Sensor cart
Soap: Haslinger Calendula Soap
Brush: Omega 10066 knot in a Rudy Vey custom handle
Post: Clubman A/S
Clinique Post Shave Healer
Clubman Talc over face, body, underarms and nethers
Lucky Tiger 3-Oil Hair Tonic
NO Deo/anti-p...still nursing an underarm rash, so the Clubman Talc is going to have to do double-duty

Used the Sensor since I was just informed that during my upcoming trip I'm expected to do some tutoring of the grandson, who has just
begun to shave. Wanted to re-educate myself on the Sensor. I'm going to gift him with a NOS Sensor Razor and break him in with some
Clinique Shave Cream.
Nearly 14, he's probably too young for a true DE and not yet patient enough to deal with a brush and/or quality soap/cream. Small steps
and try to make it fun to emulate an old guy. As a huge sports fan, he sees a ton of Gillette commercials, so will be working against the tide.
Just think how much fun I'll have doing birthday and Christmas shopping for him in the years to come!
Today's shave was fine, DFS in 2 + passes. The wonderful lather from the Haslinger soap compensated for shoddy technique with a razor I
haven't used in 6-9 months and a cartridge with unknown prior usage.

jr/John
Enjoying wet shaving, again.

Greetings everybody....
Wednesday's Shave

'65 Tech
Personna Med Prep (6th shave)
Tweezerman Badger
CO Bigelow Cream
AS: Afta Lotion

Another nice shave today. I have been on vacation in Mexico for the last week, that is why I've kept using the same gear...
I am looking forward to going home tomorrow. (it has been pretty hot and humid down here) Then I can use this same blade in one of the adjustables with a different cream or soap !!!
I cannot wait!!! Variety is the spice of life......

John
