Good morning. Monday:

Jaggerooney w/Dorco 301, #1
BK 4
TOBS Avocado
Thayer's Lavender witch hazel
Fitjar Neroli A/S Balm
TOBS No. 74 Originial

I started with the Derby from yesterday but found the shave to be a bit draggy and rough. The Dorco was smooth as expected. I will give the Derby another try after this blade.
Best,
Chris

-- Tuesday--

Prep: hot water wash with hand soap
Razor: 1922 Gillette Big Fellow with a shim
Blade: Feather Hi-Stainless (2)
Brush:Semogue 1800 boar
Soap: Cella red tub
Scuttle: Georgetown Pottery G5 in Hamada glaze
Post: Thai Crystal deodorant stick and Thayers Witch Hazel with Aloe

Result: BBS in 3+ passes. Maiden voyage for my brand new Semogue 1800. Great brush! I love the wooden handles Semogue uses. The brush seems to be breaking in very quickly. I just got it yesterday, washed it and lathered it and rubbed it on the dry towel and the back of my strop for a while. This morning after the shave I see lots of split ends. The loft feels really nice o the face.

Big Fellow with a shim and a Feather blade is a pretty good setup. I love using the Big Fellow. It's a very well balanced razor with excellent proportions in the handle.
