Tuesday morning
Pre: Clinique Skin Supplies for Men Liquid Face Wash, xs
Soap: MWF, with DR Harris lavender shave stick for jawline/chin buffing/touch-up
Brush: Omega boar 10066 set in RV handle
Razor: Cobra Classic with Dorco Barber Professional blade (5)
Post: Mystic Waters Shampoo Bar with vinegar rinse
Mystic Waters Hair Oil
Clubman A/S
Clinique Post Shave Healer
RazoRock pot. alum stick as a deo
Clubman "white" talc, liberally applies
Finally, back to a great lathering soap with the result a DFS shave with 2 1/2 passes and DRH shave stick touch-up around the jawline and chin.
No nicks or weepers, even around the still tender remains of several prior cuts. Post-shave feel was terrific. Wish this cloudy, humid day matched
the fine shave.
Also beginning to like the combo of the Mystic Waters shampoo bar, vinegar rinse and a few drops of the MW Hair Oil...soft, manageable hair** with
no clashing scents.
After a month or more of bad experiences with deodorants and a persistent nasty red underarm rash a second go-round with the RazoRock Potassium
Alum stick used as a deo. Its efficacy in controlling odor is , so far, impressive and doesn't seem to aggravate the still-healing rash. Everyone: Fingers
Crossed!
Enjoy a great day, gentlemen!
jr/John
** "hair" laughingly refers to all 3 dozen remaining...still no denying this "Hair Oil" bit is something worth pursuing!
