The Super Speed with the 7 O’Clock Blues seem to be a good match. I used the TOBS Avocado this morning. I pegged the scent today. It is not like Arko, but, it does have a citronella aroma to it (insert chuckle). It is still a nice refreshing scent. I lathered it in my new “oversize” blue Old Spice Mug. It gave me a great, thick, smooth lather using a mostly dry brush to start. I had a close, smooth shave. I did get a bit of razor burn from exerting a little too much pressure in a few spots. But when I finished with Krampert’s Bay Rum, all was right with the world again….at least until I step outside.

Result: BBS in 3+ passes. I really like the New Deluxe with a shim and Ikon bulldog handle. This is my second shave with it and now that I shimmed it, I think it shaves more like a New LC, which is good. Got a good close enjoyable shave.

The Super Speed with the 7 O’Clock Blues keeps chugging along on day three. I used Irish Moos this morning. Easy to get a good lather for three passes. I had a close, smooth, nick and burn free shave. I finished with Krampert’s Frostbite. All is good…
