-- Sunday--

Prep: hot water wash with hand soap
Razor: Frankenrazor: Hallmark top plate, Fatip base plate and Ikon Bulldog handle
Blade: Derby (4)
Brush: Ever-Ready 650PB restored with TGN two band finest
Soap: PannaCrema Namaste
Scuttle: Georgetown Pottery G5 in Hamada glaze
Post: Thai Crystal deodorant stick and Thayers Witch Hazel with Aloe

Result: BBS in 3+ passes. WOW! I just had an idea for this Frankenrazor yesterday as I've been enjoying the RazoRock (Cadet) open comb and thinking the Fatip was a bitt to aggressive for me, but with that Hallmark top plate, which leaves a bit less blade exposure and a mild blade, Derby (4) I thought it may be good to try. It was one of the best shaves I ever got! Every bit as good as the RR/Cadet and maybe even a bit smoother. I'll stick with this combo for a few more shaves and get a picture of it up in the next few days. Just a great razor came out of this!

Of course, everything else was top notch. Lather, brush, post, the whole thing is just a joy!

Sunday, early P.M.
Pre: QED French Clay bar soap
Shave Soap: Halinger Calendula
Brush: Omega Boar 81569
Razor: Gem Eveready with Gem SS, PTFE (4)
Thai Crystal deo as alum block
Shower: Basis and MWF soaps
MW Shampoo Bar (original) with white vinegar rinse
Clubman A/S
Clinique Post Shave Healer
RazoRock Aloe deo spray
3 passes to get a DFS result. Had a bit of trouble aligning the blade under the Eveready's retaining clips but finally succeeded; still, I was a
bit too timid with the razor, requiring an extra 1/2 pass to get my accustomed result. The Haslinger delivers a really, smooth sweet copious
lather and great post-shave feel.

Sunday Night:

Razor: Mergress (at lowest setting)
Blade: Perma-Sharp Super

Brush: Semogue 740 (pure badger)
Soap: TRBeck lime soft soap

Lather made in a bowl, as always.
2 1/2 passes.

Cold water rinse.

These Perma-Sharp Supers are probably my favorite blades in current production. Very sharp and smooth.

This TRBeck soap is also the best shaving soap I have ever used. It makes a very dense, creamy - even "latexy," and slick lather. It is simply outstanding!
