-- Tuesday--

Prep: hot water wash with hand soap
Razor: Ikon ShaveCraft 101 head on top of RazoRock Little Bastone handle
Blade: Perma-Sharp Super (1)
Brush: B&B Essentials Boar by Omega
Soap: PannaCrema Namaste
Scuttle: Georgetown Pottery G5 in Hamada glaze
Post: Thai Crystal deodorant stick and Thayers Witch Hazel with Aloe

Result: BBS in 3+ passes. First shave with the new ShaveCraft 101 head. It's a great shaver, but I would prefer if both sides were open comb. The safety bar side shaves just as well as the OC, but it has a characteristic feel of lather being scraped off ahead of the blade edge. It feels ever so slightly milder, but I think that's an illusion due to less lather on the blade and therefore less efficiency. I really enjoyed the OC side a lot and favored it throughout the shave. Great razor head, but should really be two separate razors.

Good Tuesday A.M.
Great Fall-like day on the Cape...put on the heat last night for the wifey. Wish it would last!
Pre: QED French Clay bar soap
Razor: Gem Push Button with Gem SS PTFE (5)
Soap: AOS Lavender, tallow
Brush: Omega 81569
Post: Crystal deo as alum block
Clubman A/S
Clinique Post Shave Healer
First shave I can remember with this Gem Push Button*... now have two and this one definitely has a longer handle.
The day the AOS tallow soap runs out will be a sad one....incredibly wonderful lather, which, with the Gem PB,
resulted in one of the finest, closest, smoothest non-Cobra shaves in quite a while. Darn close to a BBS shave
in just 2 1/2 passes and some buffing to get the ever difficult chin nice and tidy.
Anyone else have experience with the Gem Push Button which matches (or is contrary to) mine?
Hope your day is as glorious as mine started out!
* sorry, this particular longer-handled Push Button.... I have another version with which I shaved fairly recently, with somewhat less positive results!
