Monday
Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Pig Trail Soap
Soap: Stirling Scots Pine Sheep
Razor: ’66 Gillette Slim
Blade: Personna Med Prep (1)
Brush: Omega 6192 Badger
Aftershave: Krampert’s Frostbite
WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angle for my beard a bit)
5th shave with the Gillette Slim. Set it on “7” today so I decided to load a new Personna Med Prep. I also returned to my Stirling Scots Pine today. The Omega badger and the Scots Pine liked each other. I had a great shave: close, nick & burn free. I could really feel the difference with the razor set on “7” today. I finished up with Krampert’s Frostbite to see how I did on “7”. All is well……

Tuesday
Prep: Hot Shower
Soap: Proraso White-Green Tea & Oat
Razor: ’66 Gillette Slim
Blade: Personna Med Prep (2)
Brush: Omega 6192 Badger
Aftershave: Old Spice
WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angle for my beard a bit)
6th shave with the Gillette Slim. I set it on “8” today. The Personna Med Prep and the Slim did another great job. One close call on my chin, but still a great shave: closer, nick & burn free. I finished up with Old Spice.
Still alive on “8”, “9” tomorrow.

Prep: hot water wash with hand soap
Razor: Frankenrazor made with Hallmark top plate, Fatip base plate and Ikon Bulldog handle
Blade: Dorco ST-300 (1)
Brush: Semogue 1800 boar
Soap: QCS Fougère
Scuttle: Georgetown Pottery G5 in Hamada glaze
Post: Thai Crystal deodorant stick and Thayers Witch Hazel with Aloe
Result: BBS in 3+ passes. This was a great shave. First time using QCS and I am impressed. The scent is what's expected from Fougère. Perfumy, but very clean and not overwhelming. Does not linger too much. Great soap. The frankerazor I put together a few weeks ago is absolutely great. It really uses those Dorcos well by remaining moderately aggressive (but milder than Fatip). I usually get 3 good shaves from Dorco ST-300. I got a 100 of them cheap, so it's all good.
