-- Friday--

Prep: hot water wash with Stirling bath soap
Razor: Merkur Progress set to 4
Blade: Super-Max Stainless (1)
Brush: Barbear Classico LE Mistura (18/100)
Soap: Panna Crema Namaste
Scuttle: Georgetown Pottery G5 in Hamada glaze
Post: Thai Crystal deodorant alum stick and Simpson Aftershave Balm

Result: BBS in 3+ passes. What a great shave! I've been trying to work through my odd blades that I got via free samples with other orders. Super-Max Stainless was one of these blades. Never tried one and I like Super-Max SP, but they are a bit too sharp for me at the moment (I am going through a mild blade stage). these Super-Max Stainless worked very well. Smooth, but mild in sharpness. I dialed the Progress up to 4 for these and got a fantastic shave as a result. The feel of a milder blade can be as tough it's not cutting, but it is and I get much less irritation with milder blades on aggressive razor.
