Now that I'm running in the evenings I am also showering at night. So today I tried the pre-shower shave which I haven't done in a long time. The results were stupendous. I will definitely try doing this more often. My only concern is shaving right after I wake up. I usually use the shower to help get me more alert.

By the time March is done in not sure that I'll have any razors left in my arsenal other than the MCMXIV. It centennial tour is not making me tired of it, but quite the opposite. It is solidifying its spot as my one razor to rule them all.

I'm off antiquing today with the family. Going to try and find some shops we haven't been to before. This may require loads of driving but I'm excited for the hunt.

Shave delayed a day due to unreliable electric supply (well pump).

POST: Clubman A/S Clinique Skin Supplies for Men Post=Shave Healer
Always difficult to tell whether skipping a day's shave results in a smoother, closer shave. For me it usually does and today it surely did.
14 hours later and still only a little stubble and certainly no irritation. Managed even to inflict no further damage to the wound incurred
a shave ago when I erased a small pimple the hard way.
All this in 2 1/2 passes. Continue to concentrate on shorter, lighter strokes; find myself needing to think about my technique with each
stroke in every shave... seems to be working so far. Proof that even ancient dogs can learn a new trick now and then.
