Georgetown G20 scuttle
Rudy Vey Kauri wood Tulip 2 DO1 2-Band (25/56)
Sultan's Crema Maximo Oasis shaving cream (sample)
Goodfella/UFO Goliath brass
Perma-Sharp Super (4)
4711 aftershave

I received the Sultan's cream (actually a croap) as a free sample. Its scent is very muted, a little reminiscent of Pen's Hammam Bouquet, with less presence than I usually like in a soap or cream. It lathered with difficulty and lots of work, but the lather itself had adequate cushion and great razor glide. And its skin care was wonderful, leaving my face soft and moisturized; it makes me quite interested in trying one of the Sultan's tallow soaps.

FRIDAY A.M.
PRE: QED Face Soap
SHAVE CREAM: Clinique Skin Supplies for Men Maximum Comfort (brushless) Shave Cream
BRUSH: None
RAZOR: Gem 1914, with Gem PTFE SS Blade (5)
POST SHAVE: Crystal Deo stick as after shave astringent Clubman A/S Clinique Skin Supplies for Men Post Shave Healer
Well, an interesting shave, close and comfortable, in just 2 passes and with some extensive buffing. What I found most interesting was that
on its 5th shave, the Gem PTFE blade didn't shave, of course, as closely as it did on its second or third outing. But using the Clinique brushless
crème, there was no tugging or pulling, as I remember has often happened with my normal shave soap routine. Anyone else have a similar
experience with a brushless cream??
Enjoying wet shaving, again.
jr/John
