Soap: Mike's Natural Lily of the Valley
Scuttle: Georgetown Pottery G5 in Hamada glaze (used as brush scuttle)
Post: Thai Crystal deodorant alum stick and Thayers alcohol free witch hazel

Result: BBS in 3+ passes. Excellent shave. My inexpensive TGN two band finest set into WD handle brush (cost me around $30 in materials) is an amazing brush. It devoured the last of the Mike's sample and produced an excellent lather for 3+ passes and alum wash from the remainder. Just a wonderful brush at any price.
