-- Wednesday--

Prep: hot water wash with Stirling bath soap
Razor: Frankenrazor made of Hallmark top plate, Fatip base plate and Ikon bulldog handle
Blade: Astra SP (2)
Brush: Home made handle with TGN two band finest
Soap: Mike's Natural Orange Cedar and Black Pepper
Scuttle: Georgetown Pottery G5 in Hamada glaze (used as brush scuttle)
Post: Thai Crystal deodorant alum stick and Thayers alcohol free witch hazel

Result: BBS in 3+ passes. This little brush I made for travel is threatening to become my everyday brush eclipsing giants like SOC SE and BC LE Mistura. It is that good while being very small. I modeled it after the Simpson Wee Scot, but with a larger handle and slightly larger knot. It worked so well that after using it away from home with Arko stick for a few previous shaves I decided to use it at home with Mike's. It performed just as impressively as on the road. This is an amazing brush that I made a while ago, but never used very much thinking it's a travel brush. After a few shaves away from home with it, though I realized how amazingly excellent this little guy is.
