Sunday Night:

Razor: Feather MR3 handle
Blade: Feather Neo FII twin-blade cartridge

Brush: Semogue 740 (pure badger)
Soap: Art of Shaving (Lemon)

Lather made in a bowl, as always.
2 1/2 passes.

Cold water rinse + Valencia Orange Water.

First experience with a cartridge razor in a very long time. The Feather MR3 is a substantial handle made of metal and hard rubber; it feels solid. It comes with a couple of MR3 triple-blade cartridges, but I used the Neo FII twin blade that also fits the handle, purchased separately.

This razor didn't have the solid feel of engagement one gets with a DE, Injector, or SE. Also, I wasn't able to precisely trim the line between the beard and shaved area on the neck, so I grabbed a trusty Bic Metal to do that. Overall, however, it was very smooth in action and the shave is as good as what I normally get with a DE. I'm impressed, but I still get more satisfaction from wielding a DE, which will remain my mainstay.
