-- Thursday, May 15--

Prep: hot water wash with bath soap
Razor: 1922 Gillette Big Fellow with New Improved head
Blade: Ladas (3)
Brush: B&B Omega blond boar in smoke (second iteration)
Soap: Stirling Anise
Scuttle: Georgetown Pottery G5 in Hamada glaze (used as brush scuttle)
Post: Thai Crystal deodorant alum stick and Thayers's witch hazel

Image

Result: BBS in 3+ passes. Great shave. Ladas on shave 3 is holding up just fine. Stirling Anise is just a joy to smell and use. I've been using boars more. Really enjoy going back and forth and using Semogue mixed hair in between.

Thursday Night:

Razor: Gillette Red Tip Super Speed
Blade: Wilkinson Sword Light Brigade

Brush: Semogue 730 (silvertip)
Soap: Art of Shaving (Lemon)

Lather made in a bowl, as always.
2 1/2 passes.

Cold water rinse + Valencia Orange Water.

I was disappointed in the Red Tip. It wasn't very aggressive (less than expected), and it wasn't very smooth or efficient, either.
