Prep: hot water wash with bath soap
Razor: 1922 Gillette Big Fellow with New Improved head
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (4)
Brush: Shop-made Buffalo Horn handle, "The Black Queen", with TGN two band finest
Soap: Mike's Barbershop
Scuttle: Georgetown Pottery G5 in Hamada glaze (used as brush scuttle)
Post: Thai Crystal deodorant alum stick and Thayers's witch hazel

Result: BBS in 3+ passes. Wonderful shave. This new brush is quickly worming its way into my heart. It's really amazingly good. Handle proportions are just right and the horn feels like no other material, really. Mike's Barbershop is amazing and was done justice by the brush.
