Result: BBS in 3+ passes. What a delightful Fathers' Day shave. My older son, who is 18, came and made Eggs Benedict with made from scratch Hollandaise sauce while I shaved. He is becoming an amazing cook, that boy!

The new brush is outstanding. I am really liking restoring these hourglass ERs. They start out so pedestrian and end up as high end solid material brushes. This one feels like it's made of stone, not plastic. Added weight feels great and this plastic takes a glass-like polish. Pictures can not describe the feel of this brush in hand. It feels wonderful.

The Utopia gave me a good close shave. Its handle is a little too long and heavy for my taste, but I might get used to it. The razor gives nice auditory feedback. My only real complaint is that when being loaded, the blade tends to try to get out of alignment.
