Monday, October 6 --
Prep : Face wash with bath soap and water
Razor : 1922 Gillette Big Fellow with New Improved head
Blade : Super-Max SP (6)
Brush :
Olivewood brush with TGN two band finest
Soap : Mike's Barbershop
Scuttle : None
Post : Thai Crystal deodorant alum stick and Thayers's witch hazel
Result : BBS in 3+ passes. Excellent shave. This brush is wonderful. Large, dense, but flows the lather like a champ. It will only improve as it break in. The olivewood is very beautiful. I am very happy with it. The Super-Max SP blade worked great on its 6th shave. I am going to use it again because it shows no signs of dulling beyond my needs. In fact, first three shaves were rough with it for me as in too sharp. Now it's perfect.
