Van der Hagen TTO w/ Gillette 7 o'Clock SharpEdge
Omega boar
Nancy Boy Signature Cream
Woods of Windsor EDT

I had shaved last night, so I didn't get a full trial of the VdH razor. It seems to be very mild, however, which isn't necessarily bad. I'll stick with it for a few days and will try both the 7 o'Clock and Feather blades in it.

Wednesday AM 11-12-2014

Moss Slate Anniversary scuttle
Rooney 2/1 Finest (20mm/57mm)
Sultans Sandalwood Original shaving cream soap (tallow)
iKon B1 Standard
Schick Plus Platinum (1)
Floris Santal aftershave

The Sultans soft soap, while not having quite the scent of the equivalent Special Reserve, made wonderful lather. This was the first use for me of the iKon B1. It gave me a comfortable, BBS shave, but it seemed to drag, definitely not having the frictionless glide of my Weber DLC or the iKon DLC (although the latter is open comb, so I may be comparing apples and oranges). However, when I took it apart to rinse it and the blade, I discovered that I had two blades stuck together in the razor. I haven't made that kind of rookie mistake in a long time. Tomorrow I'll give it a try with just one blade.
