Soap: Mike Soap - Barbershop
Razor: 1912 SE
Blade: GEM
Brush: Custom 400 Boar
Aftershave: Angela Flanders - Artillery #2
EDT: Paco Rabanne - 1 Million

A very pleasing shave earlier today, Mikes soaps for a change and the Barber Shop scent is my favourite. The Custom 400 Boar whipped up some nice and creamy lather for two very close passings.

Angela Flanders scents are really nice, though not very long lasting. So rather than being called EDT's they would in fact be better labelled as aftershaves, which was just how I used it and will continue to do. Artillery #2 smells of pears which is nice, not sweet though a little synthetic, but even so it is still refreshing. I do prefer her Zanzibar which is probably my favourite from her collection. The warm cocoa scent from 1 Million really works with Artillery #2 and takes over once the later has faded.

All in all a great BBS shave and smelling super.

Have a great evening Gents. :)

Ambossmann 150, 6/8 Full Hollow, Round Point

This is one of my favorite straight razors, it is reliable and capable of always giving an impeccable shave. It is the only Ambossmann razor in my collection and it was one of my favorite ones since the day I bought it. A singing razor, very precise and sharp, capable of a very deep shave, comfortable and absolutely smooth.

Saturday:

L'Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash
Large Horsehair Barbershop
Lord Super/new 7 AM
Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill SS
Gold Bond Moisturizer
Stirling Glacial Wintergreen WH

OMG, after such a menthol bombardment it'll take almost the whole day for my face to thaw out - the Glacial Lemon Chill soap felt colder today than it ever did and my eyes were tearing throughout the whole shave and even my nose was running. I love the scent of this soap so much, and after I let the puck soak for a few minutes I wet my brush and the lather exploded - wowwwww, did it ever bury my face. The skincare of Rod's soaps cannot be beaten because it's absolutely brilliant. The Gold Bond is a fabulous moisturizer and so cooling and soothing. A couple of splashes of the Glacial Wintergreen witch hazel was a most frigidly end to a magnificent and enjoyable shave.
