English Fern (tallow first) shaving soap. It will go quietly back into the cool dark box to await it's next scheduled performance in the sunshine. I think it is appropriate for me to say this is the standard against which all others can fairly be judged. Legendary.

Today's shaving cream is Castle Forbes Cedarwood Sandalwood. My personal favorite scent. It's on the every day schedule for the next 6 weeks.

Today was the 43rd shave in a row for the Castle Forbes Cedarwood Sandalwood this year. It won't come back up again until sometime in June 2020. I left the lid off so it would dry out and become a very hard cream and I used it just like a soap when loading the brush.

Today's shave and the following 3 or4 weeks are provided by 3 Fine shaving soaps: Green Vetiver; Fresh Vetiver; and Snake Bite.

Fine Accoutrements Fresh Vetiver shaving soap, fitted within a stick for convenience. Very good shaving soap.

C O Bigelow cream
