iKon DLC open comb head on a Triad satin hexagon helix handle. I had to change my usual Feather razor angle with the iKon, as well as dialing back the pressure somewhat, and I still got just a touch of razor burn, although that may have been due partially to the fact that the blade was on its seventh use.

iKon DLC open comb plate with a Feather AS-D2 top cap, on a Triad Purple Titanium Aristocrat handle. It certainly gave me a close shave with a Gillette 'Swede' blade, but at the expense of several nicks. Obviously the iKon open comb will require extra attention and effort, with a learning curve, if it is going to remain in my rotation.

Delta Echo-customized Feather AS-D2 on a Triad Satin Aristocrat, with a great classic feel in the hand.

Delta Echo Feather AS-D2 on a Triad Blue Titanium Aristocrat. The handle has a kind of tacky, sticky feel that makes gripping it very stable and easy.

Noxzema/Kai twin blade disposable razor - needed to take a break from the DE so I can reset and compare with the Darwin. It was a smooth and close shave, but not what I am used to getting with the Darwin on a daily basis. Now I can get back to my routine.
