Mühle STF 22mm
Tim's Soap Blue Cypress*
Edwin Jagger Barley
Personna Lab Prep #1
Thayer's Superhazel
Terre d'Hermes EdT

*This is maybe the third batch of soap I made once I nailed down a formula, and it was divided into 6 pucks, each of which was scented differently. This one, done with blue cypress essential oil, is my favorite. The soap is two and a half years old and nearing its end, but the scent, though less than it was, is still quite nice, and the shaves are terrific. The oil is expensive, but worth it for a soap for myself. Just an intoxicating aroma - reminiscent of fir balsam more than other cypress EOs, but with a warm, spicy dimension and an element of fruit lingering just at the edges. Bone dry, not sweet, and ultimately just about the most perfect, contemplative scent I can imagine for a shave. Just the thing sometimes when life gets a little too much.
Regards,
Tim
