Good question Tim. I will start using the SynBad as an alternative to the SilkSmoke and refresh my perceptions of the differences between the two before I post about it. There are differences, but lately I've been using three badger brushes and the SilkSmoke, so my opinions on the two synthetics side by side are a bit hazy.
