Rotbart #15 razor
Treet 7 Days blade
Plisson/L'Occitane brush
Palmolive Mentholated SC
Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
M&L Florida Water Cologne w/added menthol

Day #4 with the Treet 7 Days blade and another smooth, close and comfortable shave. This blade feels like new and is doing pretty darn well I think. Plenty of face freezing products this morning too. Great start to the day. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Yesterday's experience with the 1951 SuperSpeed and Super Stainless blade went so well that I used it again today with equally satisfying results. Kramperts Frostbite still kickin'. That's the story of today's SOTD.

Lord Smart razor
Treet 7 Days blade
Shave Revolution Evolution brush
CO Bigelow SC
Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
Skin Bracer A/S w/added menthol

Day 5 on the Treet 7 Days blade and got another nice comfortable shave today. Had to do more touch up than usual though. Not sure if the blade is falling off or if the Smart/Treet combo just isn't quite the right one. At any rate, it was another nice shave and I'm ready to go. Now go enjoy your day folks

Today's SOTD involved 2 changes. I was delighted to use the new Hulk Plissoft synthetic brush from Razorock. Wonderful lathermaker. I also decided to use my recently acquired estate sale razor, the 1956 Red Tip SuperSpeed from Gillette. Very nice results, looking forward to tomorrow's shave now.

Weber DLC razor
Treet 7 Days blade
Maggard Synthetic brush
TSD Lemongrass SS w/2X menthol
Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
TSD Lemongrass A/S w/2X menthol

Another face freezing shave for sure! Like it! The Treet is not a 7 Days blade for me. It quit working today. Didn't get harsh or tuggy/pully, just quit cutting. I will say that I really like this blade though. It's a very good blade. Still, I ended up with a very fine shave and am ready to go. Now go enjoy your day folks

Today's post-shower shave was excellent. Just as planned. Again, I used the Hulk synthetic to face-lather the Frostbite soap, and the vintage Gillette Red TIp SuperSpeed and Gillette Super Stainless blade delivered a close and smooth end product.

Star 3 piece razor
Astra SP blade
WD Synthetic brush
CO Bigelow SC
Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
Skin Bracer A/S w/ added menthol

1st use of a Star 3 piece (that I can recall) and it was good. Nice close comfortable shave that left me DFS with no problem. And I love CO Bigelow SC, it just works so well for me. It could be my one and only. Wait...nah but I sure do like it. Now go enjoy your day folks

My SOTD for Thursday. Inspired by my recent successes with the Gillette SuperSpeeds, 1951 and 1956 Red Tip, I decided to take a fresh look at two more old Gillette treasures. This morning's razor was the (a rare postwar very limited run) 1946 Ranger Tech. I also changed blades today. Out with the Super Stainless and in with the Personna hospital use for a week or so. For my brush, I returned to the Monster synthetic after taking a couple of inaugural shaves with the Hulk. That was fun, and I'm glad to have it. Only the Krampert's and the Superior 70 remained the same. (Ranger Tech + P.h.u.= success!)
