Parker Variant razor
Astra SP blade
WD Synthetic brush
TSD Lemongrass SS w/2x menthol
Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
TSD Lemongrass A/S w/2x menthol

Shave #2 and changed the adjustment to 3.5 today from yesterday's 3. Got another effective shave but it felt a little harsh/aggressive. 3 was a great setting yesterday. Think I'll go to a 2.5 tomorrow and see what happens. I'm really liking this razor, Parker has a winner here folks. It's raining like crazy here right now but that's ok cuz I"m ready to go regardless the weather. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Soap: TOBS Almond
Razor: 1946 Gillette Super-Speed
Blade:Vintage Schick -- all I can say is, "They don't make blades like these today!"
A/S: Nivea splash (got this in the country of Panama a few years back. Smells fantastic!)
Cologne: None needed

Homemade cypress/fir bath soap
24mm Thäter 2-band 4125 fan
Homemade vetiver/citrus shave soap
Mergress (set to 3)
Personna Medical Prep blade (day 3)
Homemade "un-cologne" aftershave splash
Comme des Garcons Vettiveru

The Mergress and Thäter are recent acquisitions, and both have been eye-openers after years of the EJ 89 and Mühle silvertip fibre.

As close to a perfect shave setup as I have found in terms of both quality and my scent preferences.
Regards,
Tim

Parker Variant razor
Astra SP blade
Plisson/L'Occtiane brush
Williams SS (Vintage)
Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
Pinaud Clubman A/S

Set the Parker at 2.5 today and got a right dandy shave. It felt very mild but not quite as effective as when set at 3. So, for me and the Astra, it appears that 3 is the magical setting. Will change blades tomorrow and see if the sweet spot stays at 3 or what. So, the end result was great and I'm ready to go. Now go enjoy your day folks

Thursday morning:

WSP Rustic soap-Barbershop scent
Stirling Kong synthetic brush
Maggard V3A razor
Personna Stainless blade (Israel)
Barbasol Pacific Rush A/S

Took a detour today from my plan to use up my shaving creams. I needed a little variety. The WSP vegan soap lathers easily and provides good glide and protection. Good stuff. In a few days I'll get back to the creams.
Best regards,

Parker Variant razor (again)
Rainbow Stainless blade
Shave Revolution Evo brush
CO Bigelow SC
Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
Skin Bracer w/added menthol

Changed blades and since the Rainbow is a mild blade for me, I set the Variant at 3 1/4. Sweet Spot! Another very smooth, comfortable shave that left my face really happy. I'll try some other settings with this blade just to be sure I hit the right spot. So now I'm ready to go impress the ladies at the feed store. Out of chicken feed. Now go enjoy your day folks

Yet Another RazorGuy Shave

Yet another RazorGuy shave. This is how I call my shaves when I use the homemade shave products I make as a hobby and for fun. I must say I can't stop using my newest Mastro Livi Club Shave Brush 2016 Edition because I like it very much! This shave brush, which can be ordered until 31 December 2016, has a super luxurious super silvertip badger loft and a beautiful handle which perfectly fits in my hand. Very balanced and with the right weight, it is a joy to use. As for the razor, I wanted to use this Mastro Livi "Perugia 13.12.14", a straight razor Mastro Livi made in occasion of the event held in his laboratory at the end of the 2014. I am one of the few lucky persons to have this beautiful straight razor. The final touch has been provided by my Bay Rum aftershave, a fragrance I really like.
