This was a fairly good shave. I had not shaved, since Friday Night, and, I owed myself a shave. This felt, really, good. The weather was raining, all day yesterday, and, this morning. This faded to sunshine, and, wind, with high gusts. My face needed, this shave. The good scent of sandalwood seemed to capture the mood. The music soothed my nerves, and, made me feel, at peace. The cream was new, to me. It took a bit more, than I thought/remembered it would, to make a great lather, but, I got there. I prefer regular/bulb knots to the fan knot. I have decided to, always, use a Rapira Swedish Supersteel razor blade. I deserved a good shave, and, I got one. I need to work at making the angle consistent. Happy Monday, and, Happy Shaving!

Well, I was going to skip tonight's shave, for the holiday, but, then there was a terrorist attack, and, I needed to calm down. At least eight people were killed. No songs played, in their memory. The Green Vetiver smells like aftershave should smell.

Jack, I see that you use the Cremo Cooling shaving cream. I have seen it on the shelves in local Target/Walgreen, etc., and am curious to hear your thoughts on the performance as a brushless shaving cream. How's the cooling effect?

This was an alright shave. It would have been better, had the shaving soap been the right colour. I am going to banish all unsatisfactory soaps, from my bathroom. Maybe now, maybe, in a few weeks' time. Anyway, the lather was good, the smell was average, and, the face feel was normal. The real stand-out is the Dark Vetiver Shaving Tonic. This is my new signature scent. It was, for a while, then I switched. Now, I am going back, to it. I love it. Happy Thursday, and, Happy Shaving!
