Moss Anniversary Slate scuttle
Rooney 1/3 Ivory Finest (26/55)
Ralph Lauren Safari shaving soap (vintage)
Delta Echo Ink Edition Feather AS-D2/Triad Spiral Titanium
Wilkinson Light Brigade (4)
Ralph Lauren Safari aftershave balm (vintage)

The Safari soap is excellent and underappreciated, I think. The matching balm is actually more of an aftershave milk and has a slight momentary bite to it.

Rooney 1/3 Ebony Finest (26/52)
Penhaligon's Lords shaving cream (vintage)
Charcoal Goods Brass L1/UFO Kaiser Red Bronze
Wilkinson Light Brigade (5)
Penhaligon's Lords aftershave (vintage)

The cream has dried solid, so I just loaded the brush directly, but amazingly there still is good fragrance. The lather was perfect.

Edwin Jagger XL Synthetic Silvertip
Homemade Fir Balsam-Vetiver soap
Edwin Jagger Barley Chrome 89 DE
Personna Medical Prep blade day 5
Homemade Un-Cologne a/s splash
Yves Saint Laurent Live Jazz spray

I belieive I'm about to completely divest myself of eaux de toilette. Or rather, almost completely. The variety, the rotation, just doesn't do much for me. I like to have something for evenings out with my wife and something very soapy and clean and simple for daily use and nothing else. The variety in soap scents and sometimes in my aftershave splash is plenty.

Ultimately, I guess, the shave evolves toward sameness, but it is not dull, just as my daily cup of the same locally roasted coffee never fails to delight and intrigue. I have two EJ synthetic brushes, my own soaps (and a couple of commercial ones), the Barley Chrome, the Personnas...they work. And the shaves are a daily reset button, preparing me to enter the world as a eupeptic.
