The brush is a prototypical high-loft Finest, almost too soft for the hard soap. The soap has not held its fragrance well, but it makes great lather otherwise. And the Paradigm has excellent auditory feedback but seems to drag slightly once in a while.

The small brush is not an ideal size for me, but it certainly does an adequate job whipping up lather, and I really like its history. The soap is one of those love-it-or-hate-it ones, and I love it, especially paired with a good lavender aftershave.

I like the old Figaro's lather better with a drop or two of almond fragrance oil added. The Weber razor is great with the vintage blade, with very slightly more friction than the DLC and just a tad more auditory feedback. And the Racquets Formula is an underappreciated great one.

Today was one of those shaves where I just wasn't focused enough. Yesterday's shave was perfect, but today I must have been distracted or something because I nicked myself more than once. I wasn't in a hurry, just not paying attention I suppose.
