The 'University' aspect I mean, it's a dead issue now, it's been done.
You see, some English guy has nailed it, he has perfected shaving.

Take at look at this

Pity, in a way.
No more back and forth, no more banter.
I don't get you English.
First, you give us the best soaps, brushes, and go figure the best DE razors, and now you take it all away.
And what do you replace it with?
Horror.

I'm going to go German I guess.
Tabac, Shavemac, and Merkur.
No more tea, either.
For me it's just beer, even for breakfast.

That hurt just to look at it. His finger placement on the razor tell you just how much pressure he's using.

I think he can get away with it cause he doesn't really have much hair.

Looks like someone from here saw this video a few months ago, there is a comment to check out mantics videos.

+1

And I would also add that you should check out Mantic's videos as the benchmark first. If you can't do better, then leave well-enough alone. :o

No offense taken. I'm quite aware of my half-yankee/half-southern accent.

The way the guy was applying his lather kinda creeped me out. With that technique his shave would be a bloodbath if he was using a DE razor  but he seems to get good results with whatever he's using. . .

It always makes me chuckle when Americans call our accent 'cool' 8).

His name is Gareth, so I guess it's not all bad....

Gareth, that's the funny thing with us and accents...

When I've been overseas, people always say, "I love that American accent." And I chuckle, because we here often can tell from where in the United States a person hails just from the sound of their voice...

Now, say, "Bond, James Bond," for me and let's get back to this shaving business... :D

Jack, it's the same over here. We have quite strong regional accents which make it easier to tell where people come from. I have (I am told) quite a 'posh' and 'well to do' accent and not a particularly regional one. That is quite strange since I was brought up and live in Wales.

Gareth, Perhaps, but you're obviously 'posh' and 'well to do', I could tell that from the get-go ( chuckle )......well, I could.
