Thanks Mark, already watched it! Did I see correctly, the barber drawing lather from a Lather King hot lather machine for your shave. Not that there is anything wrong with that, I was just surprised.

The lather machine was modified; it had T&H's Ultimate shave cream.
I did notice, that while the hot towel was being applied you were just slightly adjusting your position in the chair - and it brought to mind a scene in the Flintstones when Fred leaped out of a barber's chair due to a hot towel treatment.

Now that would be something interesting, any ideas on what was modified to use T&H UC?
My barber uses the hot lather and a shavette to clean things up on the back of my neck, feels great and seems classy. He hasn't shaved anyone's face in years but still likes the finish he gets with the razor for the neck line, around the ears and sideburns.
Once again another excellent video from the Mantic Studios! It was really cool how you got that barber to 'spill his guts". Great job Mark and the quality was top notch.

Very well done, Mark. The closest I ever came to a barber shave was getting my neck shaved after a haircut when I was 14 or 15. I've been curious about one thing for a while but never bothered starting a separate thread or finding an appropriate one to follow-up on. It's this: Do typical barber shaves include more than one pass, or does this vary from shop to shop?
Monty Park, at Trumpers, would do a one pass shave with light touch ups. A hot towel was applied after the shave. I once asked him about using cold water after a shave and he emphatically said "NO". I personally find nothing wrong with using cold water after the shave and never had the nerve to tell him that fact! LOL What I find interesting in Mark's video is that the barber talked about shaving the beard hairs and not the skin yet he does 2 pass shaves. He must use a "light" touch with the razor to accomplish this but Monty's technique did not require a 2nd full pass about the face. Different strokes for different folks as they say.
