Newbie poking aroung

Started thread on brushes and soaps. Pretty much decided on the soap and still somewhat in the wind on all the choices of brush. Now I've about decided after watching videos and reading on here to go ahead and order a de razor and blades even if I don't include it in the routine immediately. I'll poke around in the razor forum to see if my questions are answered but I'll throw it out here - I'm looking for a straight edge de like the Merkur classic and some of the less aggressive blades (ie not feather) to start out with right?
