Thanks all for the very warm welcome!

I have quite a bit of gear, as I suffered from horrible AD in my first few months (think I've gotten it under control now though). However, my current favourite razor setup is:

Mergress DE razor (Weber is a close 2nd)
Voskhod blades
Kent Blk 8
MWF/Tabac (I prefer the clean scent of MWF, both lather equally well for me)
Body shop macca root ASB

Good gear. If you get a blade sampler you'll find a great variation in blades. Some you'll like better than others. Some will really stand out and be fantastic.

To date, I've tried:

Feather
Gillette 7oc super stainless
Gillette silver blue
Astra SP
Wilkinson sword
Iridium super
Polsilver super iridium
Derby extra
Croma diamant
Supermax platinum
Voskhod
Shark super stainless
Lord platinum
Treet platinum

Of the lot, my top 3 are:
Voskhod
Iridium super
Astra SP

I think it's my technique (which I'm constantly working on improving), but I can't seem to appreciate feathers the way most people seem to. I do look forward to trying out new blades though
