Strop Question

Post by Esoteric83 »

Is it normal to get a little bit of leather dust/residue on the razor after stropping? Or am I doing something wrong? heavy handed?

Both the spine and edge should be flush on the leather surface, right?

Thanks,

Sure, I would say that it is normal. You want an even,
flat contact with the strop. Not too much pressure, be
sure that you aren't depressing the strop which might
prevent this flat contact.
