According to Prof Verhoeven at Iowa State, razor blades (straight, DE, you name it) all have edges that are about 4000 angstroms across. So 0.5 angstrom resolution should be sufficient for the task :-)

I work at an R&D lab. WE don't have THAT high a resolution SEM, but we do have one that I'm hoping to run some experiments in when time allows.

(comparing Merkurs to Feathers for example. Or a before and after of the same blade after using it for a week, stuff like that...
