They are good razors. The 7/8 and 8/8 are quite popular at the moment.

Looks like it's in good shape. I honed up 8 Henckel Friodurs yesterday using a new pair of hones. Easy, exquisite edges.

Thanks! This one is carbon steel rather than inox. There was some minor restoration, but the vendor is a first class restorer and honer (cedarfurnitureman). I suspect the scales are not original, but the style is a reasonable match.

Matt,

There's no mistake that's definitely Quinton and Laney! They're both great! That's an awesome steal you got there too. Personal thank you note and instructions ( for n00bs ) are nice touch indeed. Not to mention the extreme care of packaging razors.

I've Henckels 401 but not in quality like yours.

Right. The packaging was awsome. Cedarfurnitureman must be the best ebay razor guy to deal with. His auctions usually get plenty of bids, so I guess the word is out. I don't know where he gets those beautiful vintage razors from.

I have a 60 year old Henckel that I use at work and its still looks and performs like the day it was made.

Great razors,that was a steal.
