RAN-TAN-KA-RUS
I got this beauty off the bay recently. All the muck is just dirt - came right off with MAAS. And I honed it with my coticule and got a wonderful smooth close shave. RAN-TAN-KA-RUS eventually was an Engstrom brand (don't know if Engstrom acquired it, succeeded to it, or just had it as a brand). My blade doesn't say Engstrom, but I've seen photos of Ran-tan-ka-rus blades that said ran-tan-ka-rus and engstrom.
Very pronounced swayback, very hollow, and very nicely weighted. Smaller blades can drive me nuts but this really sticks in the hand nicely. And I love the funky design on the scales. [/img]
