I posted this over at the Collector's Corner but figured this might be something better for the straight razor section. Maximilian over at SRP did the custom scales.
The razors are:
1) August Plumacher 6/8 with custom blue/black G10 scales
2) Friodur 7/8 with custom silver twill G10 scales
3) Dubl Duck Satinedge 6/8 with custom butterscotch micarta scales with transferred Satinedge bolsters
4) Dubl Duck Special #1 7/8 with custom abalone scales

Very nice. Max did some of those gorgeous abalone scale for one of my W&B meat choppers, and it's beautiful, particularly if you shine the light right on it.
I really like the blue black you have there. That's a nice look.

Thanks for all the nice words on the razors. Max does excellent work, and these should be nice pieces to hand down to my son one day.

Chris, I love the Ducks! Back in the day, when I could handle a STR8, they were one of my favorites.
Your son is off to a great start!
