Henckels Friodur w/ horn scales

Post by Leon »

I had this Friodur blade laying around without any particular fancy scales, so I decided to have it dressed with a nice dark horn scales.
I decided to make it slightly different than the "standard" round-ish scales, since the blade itself has a very elegant shape with the Spanish point and worked spine, I decided to make the wedge end slightly squarer and with a nice and long wedge in contrast with the darker handle halves.

Here's the final result:

Now that's a razor! I really like the shave from a Friodur when it finally reaches perfection. Perhaps that's why I still have ten of them!

Nice work. I like the marbled pattern on the scales!
