Dovo Best Quality half hollow

Post by brothers »

I've sold off quite a few vintage 5/8 full hollow SRs over the past few weeks, and as a replacement, I'm thinking about maybe getting a new Dovo Best Quality half hollow in Blonde. There have been a lot of good reports about their ability to accept and hold an edge, and the price is very affordable for an entry level shaver. I've learned that Jarrod at The Superior Shave has a good selection and prices. I'm wondering if anyone here has any experiences with these razors.

I've never had a Dovo half-hollow, but I imagine they will be a little easier to hone than the extra hard TI half-hollows.
You're getting a taste for the stiff blades and their non-twangy shaves! The Dovo Bergischer Lowe acts the same even though it is hollow-ground, and then you'll have to try the heavy old W&B types.....

They come in three colors. The sentient shaver would want one of each.
